I knew other verses said you had to believe and receive, to trust and to abide, but to me that was sort of theological mumbo jumbo..." "(we do good) not so that we can earn our salvation. we're to do that in response to our salvation.." this was the only guy from a church in the novel who got "left behind". all believers of Christ disappeared from earth.
